Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Senior Analyst, Finance based in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. This role involves the consolidation and analysis of financial information, supporting strategic planning through financial modeling and analysis, and being responsible for worldwide sales reporting in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a dedicated and self-directed initiator with a strong financial analysis/data analysis background to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering projects that meet regulations and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the consolidation, analysis, and validation of month-end financial information
Provide timely explanations of variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets, directing manager's attention to opportunities for corrective action
Support the annual budgeting and strategic planning process with financial modeling & analysis, template & process development
Assist in the preparation and process ownership of the quarterly Projection - Sales, pricing, investment opportunities, operating income, and presentation materials
Oversee worldwide and Transatlantic Operating Model sales reporting, ensuring accurate and timely reports
Coordinate and build out weekly forecasts, presenting to leadership, and communicating results to the group
Liaise with the US, Europe, and Canada finance leads to facilitate consolidated reporting methods
Champion continuous improvement with regard to existing processes and deliverables
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of financial analysis/data analysis background
High proficiency in Excel including advanced functions, formulas, and pivots
Proficiency in PowerPoint with strong communication, customer service, and analytical skills
Experience with Hyperion Financial Management
Experience with Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), Oracle, Power BI preferred
