Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a(n) Senior Manager, Technology Solutions Engagement – Innovative Medicine Strategic Programs. This position can be based in Raritan, NJ and Titusville, NJ.

The Senior Manager, Technology Solutions Engagement, is the single point of accountability for assigned sector and business partners, driving specific business value streams. The individual works with business and business technology partner(s) on all strategic and tactical initiatives, leading demand across wide spectrum of Technology Services capabilities, including but not limited to application development, application maintenance, networking, infrastructure, end user services, information security & risk management (ISRM), privacy and compliance.

This role will manage Solutions Engineers who will form teams of Technology Services resources to support "High Performing Team" squads against business partner strategic roadmaps and key product group initiatives to deliver shared business outcomes. They will serve as an advocate within Technology Services for their respective business partners and will peer Technology Services Engagement Managers to gain a complete, cross-sector view and build, grow, extend and prioritize technology solutions that most efficiently and effectively achieve these goals. In addition, this individual will collaborate with Technology Solution Leads and Engineers to continuously critically evaluate technology capabilities to realize value and will work with the Director, Technology Solutions Engagement to make decisions about further investment based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with and provide support to Product Group leaders and managers for products, capabilities and services aligned to several strategic programs.

  • Help to establish technology roadmaps to achieve efficient & effective delivery of business & customer goals.

  • Ensure Technology Solutions work product meets stated business needs and achieves desired business outcomes.

  • Align on sector goals & objectives aligned with their Director and demonstrate success of squads and team members accordingly.

  • Provide support and point of escalation across all stages the product lifecycle to optimize value across the squads.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field of study required.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 7 years of healthcare and technology experience.

  • Ability to successfully communicate with a cross-section of colleagues at all levels of the organization.

  • Outstanding relationship and interpersonal skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with strength in conveying complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.

  • Understanding of and experience with developing digital solution in a highly regulated environment.

  • Ability to effectively assimilate team working with or by direction of their Director, recognize and lead the resolution of Product Group issues and roadblocks and work independently and influence without formal authority as needed.

  • Experience with all aspects of the product development lifecycle as well as Agile methodology.

  • Collaborating and influencing operations, infrastructure, call center and end user teams to achieve the goals of the sectors.

  • Some experience with customer relationships and prior experience in a customer-facing role.

  • Experience working with external partners to bring products/services to market.

  • Empower and inspire people and make tough decisions in a timely manner. Strong interpersonal/project management skills.

  • Prior experience enabling healthcare professional and patient experiences across multiple digital channels and platforms. (IE. Omnichannel Optimization, Content and Campaign Agility, Data Science, Identity Management, User Experience design, Personalization, Modular Content and Media Integrations).

Preferred:

  • Certifications in key processes and technologies in the value stream, such as, Scaled Agile (SAFe, Nexus, Scrum), commercial technology solutions.

Other:

  • 5- 10 % domestic travel between our J&J New Jersey locations.

Anticipated Salary Range: $118,000- $203,550

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
