HP Inc. Cloud Engineer in Tlaquepaque, Mexico

As a Cloud Engineer in our team, you will have the responsibility to develop and support HP's cloud platforms. You will have the opportunity to grow your career through a variety of paths inside one of the world's leading technology companies.What you will do in this role:* Work in tandem with other engineering teams to identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions for the company* Define and document good practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure management * Guide development teams to build cloud competencies* Ensure system performance, uptime, scaling requirements are met, while maintaining high standards of design and implementation* Manage cloud environments in accordance to company security guidelines* Apply and adopt DevSecOps good practicesWhat you need to be successful in this role:* Minimum bachelor's degree* Between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience* Technology skills: o Expertise in common AWS and/or Azure services▪ AWS: IAM, VPC, EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.▪ Azure: VNet, VM, Storage, Functions, DNS, Key Vault, WAF, Private Link, etc.o Proficiency in containers▪ Docker, Kuberneteso Competent with:▪ Linux▪ Infrastructure as Code - Terraform▪ Source control management - GitHub▪ Continuous Integration - Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions* Other traits:o Some prior experience with programming (any language)o Ability to work on multiple clouds (AWS and Azure)o Conversant with network, storage, and access managemento Knowledgeable about cloud security and cloud cost optimizationo Experienced in designing distributed systems for high availabilityo Good communicationAbout the team: Our mission is to deliver world class cloud platforms to enable HP's Digital Transformation

The base pay range for this role is $118,050 to $181,800 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
