A Fortune 133 company, and a global technology leader, is looking for an RF Engineer for our Guadalajara branch who is passionate about being at the forefront of leading-edge tech!
What You'll Be Doing:
Design, develop, and optimize RF circuits and systems for applications such as wireless communications, radar, IoT, and satellite technology.
Conduct RF simulations and model system-level performance to ensure designs meet specifications for frequency, gain, noise figure, and other critical parameters.
Lead RF testing and validation processes in both laboratory and field environments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and optimizing for performance.
Implement advanced testing methodologies to evaluate RF performance metrics such as signal integrity, power efficiency, and interference management.
Stay current with emerging RF technologies, standards, and industry trends, providing innovative solutions and recommendations for product development.
Partner with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate RF components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high performance.
Identify market opportunities to introduce or enhance RF products that align with customer needs and industry advancements.
Support pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise, conducting presentations, and addressing RF-specific inquiries from prospective clients.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
5 years of related experience
Proficiency in using RF design and simulation tools like ADS, HFSS, or CST Microwave Studio, and experience with lab equipment such as Network Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzers.
Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing RF circuits and systems, with a solid understanding of signal processing and electromagnetic theory.
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards (e.g., FCC, ETSI) and a proven track record in meeting these requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently manage projects and collaborate effectively in team settings.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and multidisciplinary teams in English.
Nice to Have:
Certifications related to RF engineering, such as IEEE Wireless Communication Professional, are a plus.
Experience with advanced modulation techniques, beamforming technologies, and RF system architecture design.
Familiarity with software-defined radio (SDR) platforms and their implementation in modern RF solutions.
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid: 3 days in office/2 days work from home
