The Cross-Border Transportation Network Operation Center (X-NOC) Specialist manages the cross-border movement of cargo from source countries to Amazon Facilities across APAC. This role partners with regional internal and external partners and stakeholders to execute daily inbound operations and improvement activities to drive speed, accuracy, and efficiency. The specialist will be the main Point of Contact for 3P service providers and internal Amazon stakeholders pertaining to cross-border cargo movements.

We are looking for a candidate that has expertise of cross-border freight movements, effective communication skills (written and verbal) both in Japanese and English, and a strong ability to deep dive problems effectively. The specialist will serve as a hub for Global Logistics, Internal and External Stakeholders in terms of communication and performance management. They will help the 3P service providers and Amazon stakeholders identify and prevent errors, own, and resolve escalations relating to the cargo movement, and provide a consistent understanding of proper process for the cross-border cargo inbound processes.

今回募集する国際輸送ネットワークオペレーションセンター(X-NOC)スペシャリストは、輸出国（主に中国、東南アジア、アメリカ）からアジア太平洋地域のAmazon施設への国際輸送を管理しています。このポジションは、日々の業務と改善活動を地域の社内外のパートナーやステークホルダーと連携して実行し、スピード、正確性、効率性を高める役割を担っています。また、NOCスペシャリストは、ロジスティクスサービスプロバイダーや社内のステークホルダーの主要な連絡窓口となります。

このロールにおいては、国際輸送に関する知識、経験と、日本語・英語での効果的なコミュニケーションスキル、問題解決力に優れた人材を求めています。

主な業務内容は以下の通りです：

1. 世界各地の発送元からアジア太平洋地域に所在するAmazon施設までの航空/海上/陸上輸送管理業務

2. ステークホルダー/ロジスティクスサービスプロバイダーパートナーとのコミュニケーション

3. 問い合わせ、エスカレーションの管理

4. レポート作成と配布

5. 日々の業務における改善活動

6. 問題発生時の原因調査と解決

Key job responsibilities

This role will include the following:

• Manage Shipment Order-to-Arrival of Air/Ocean/Ground B2B import shipments from origin facilities across the Globe to Amazon Facilities in APJ.

• Manage Shipment Order-to-Arrival of Air/Ocean

• Stakeholder/Partner Communications

• Inquiry Management

• Escalation Management

• Reporting Creation and Distribution

• Kaizen activities in day-to-day operations

• Investigate causes of problems and collaborate with related partners to rectify them.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Tokyo, 13, JPN

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent experience

• High school or equivalent diploma

• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

• Business Level Written/Verbal Proficiency in both Japanese and English required

• 1+ Years of Experience in Cross-Border Transportations (Air/Ocean) Management or 1+ Years of Experience in Customs Brokerage

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• Experience with SQL

• 1+ Years of Experience in Cross-Border Transportations (Air/Ocean) Management

• 1+ Years of Experience in Customs Brokerage
