About our Team

You will join a team of solution based consultants and supporting professionals covering LexisNexis and RISK within our Yaesu location in Tokyo Midtown outside Tokyo station.

About the Role

The HRBP supports business growth and strategy implementation from the aspects of human resources and organization as a partner of management, business managers, and business divisions. The mission is not only to respond to the needs of management and business units, but also to identify and resolve potential issues for business growth. As such, the HRBP supports the business units from the human resource and organizational aspects to achieve their goals and further growth.There are 4 functional roles for HRBP in below1. "Strategic partner"2. "Change agents"3. "Employee champion"4. "Administrative expert"This advocacy, which emphasized the need for HR to change from being primarily an administrative function to a strategic function, led HR to be positioned, as an important function for the realization of strategy, rather than an administrative function. HRBP (HR Business Partner) is responsible for this function as a strategic partner.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with people managers to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives, aligning them with global objectives.

  • Analyze HR data and trends, leveraging insights to recommend proactive solutions for talent retention and development.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver impactful learning and development programs.

  • Collaborate with COE( Talent acquisition, Talent Development, and Rewards) to drive talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance management processes, fostering a high-performing culture.

  • Assist with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance issues, and disciplinary actions.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and providing guidance on HR-related matters.

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.

  • Stay updated with HR trends and best practices, recommending improvements to HR processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Holding a Bachelors degree at minimum

  • At least three years of working experience in Human Resource functions.

  • Business fluency in English and Full fluency in Japanese

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.

  • Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
