Job Description

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Hospitality or/and Tourism Major Bachelor Degree in College or University graduated or prospective graduate

  • Information Technology or/and Computer Science Major Bachelor Degree in College or University graduated or prospective graduate

  • Previous experience with Oracle Hospitality Simphony Point-of-Sale or similar F&B Point-of-Sale software.

  • Hospitality industry experience is preferred

  • Tertiary qualification in a technical or hospitality management field is preferred

  • Knowledge of manual Food & Beverage procedures.

  • Familiarity with relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle 12c Database Server) is preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP networks, PCs, and troubleshooting techniques is preferred

Language Requirements

  • Japan : Fluency in Japanese and English is required.

Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Project management expertise.

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in SQL and relevant technical skills.

Desirable Qualifications & Certifications

  • Previous experience as a trainer or consultant is preferred

  • MCSE and OCP certifications is preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure the solution meets specifications and functions per customer specific operational work flow for multiple concepts, users, and service models. Resolve any gaps in functionality. Train the staff on the use of the new solution, and take the site live on the system after everything has been configured and everyone is trained. Ensure a smooth transition to the new system. Answer operational and application questions and consult the customer in a manner to transfer ownership of the system to the customer. After "go-live", provide technical support to the customer.

As an Implementation Consultant , you will analyze customer needs, configure and install solutions, and ensure seamless integration with their workflows. You will address functionality gaps, train staff, oversee the go-live process, and provide post-implementation support to ensure a smooth transition and system adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Implementation & Configuration

  • Install and configure the Oracle Hospitality F&B product suite to meet customer requirements.

  • Ensure system alignment with operational workflows.

  • Training & Knowledge Transfer

  • Train staff on system usage and restaurant operations best practices.

  • Enable customers to independently manage the system.

  • Support & Issue Resolution

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system functionality issues.

  • Provide post-implementation support and collaborate with My Oracle Support (MOS) for escalations.

  • Quality & Compliance

  • Follow installation and training standards .

  • Engage in product training and quality assurance for new releases.
