We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager who can own complex problems within Supply Chain and Operations team. In this role, the candidate will work cross functionally with teams to identify and launch initiatives aimed at improving the customer and vendor experience.

Senior Supply Chain Manager は、サプライチェーン戦略に責任を持ち、在庫回転率を高め、オペレーションを改善することにより、売上・利益・キャッシュフローに貢献します。購買/注文エコシステムの構築、管理、最適化も含めた高度なサプライチェーンの改革・改善において重要な役割を果たします。 Senior Supply Chain Managerとして、サプライチェーンの効率化に加え、商品セレクションと在庫の改善するための計画・実行に責任を持ち、それによって、最高クラスの顧客体験を提供し、収益とマージンを最大化します。 このロールでは、効率的で拡張性のあるサプライチェーンの構築、直接調達戦略の構築、ベンダーのパフォーマンスの向上など、戦略や計画の策定から運用管理までのすべての側面を担当します。 これらのことを、アマゾン内のグローバルな関連チームや日本の主要ベンダーと密接に協力すると同時に、データ、自動化、カイゼンを活用することで実現します。

Key responsibilities

The Supply Chain Manager will demonstrate ownership of supply chain strategies to maximize sales, margin and turns. He or she plays a critical role helping Amazon to build, manage and optimize a complex supply chain including Buying/Ordering ecosystem.

As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing plans to deliver supply chain efficiencies that reduce fixed and variable costs and to improve selection/inventory availability in order to provide best-in-class customer experience and maximize revenue and margin. The role will cover all aspects of planning and operational management, including building an efficient and scalable supply chain operations, building direct sourcing strategy as well as improving vendors performance. You will achieve these initiatives by partnering closely with and influencing internal teams and tier-1 vendors in Books while leveraging data, automation and Kaizen to achieve targets.

Being successful

The successful candidate must be highly organized, self-starting and possess strong data extraction and analytical capabilities. They must demonstrate passion for the customer experience. They must be fearless but thoughtful in their pursuit of results and thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to succeed in managing complex supply chain effectively and efficiently, identifying problems/finding solutions, and building/improving processes. The ideal candidate will be able to lead and influence both internal and external teams to solve ambiguous problems while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.

Basic Qualifications

• 工学、ビジネス、または関連分野における学士号

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field

• 5年程度の関連職務の経験（コンサルティングやサプライチェーン、在庫管理、または関連プロジェクトマネジメント）

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (Consulting management or supply chain experience)

• 日本語が母国語、もしくは、JPLTN1

• ビジネスレベルの英語

• Native Japanese or JPLT N1

• Business level English required.

• KPIなどのメトリック作成・改善の経験、および、生データからインサイトを抽出する分析力

• Experience with reporting technologies and analytics. Capable of turning raw data into information and insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• 優れた意思決定力、書面および口頭でのコミュニケーション力、実践的で常識的なアプローチに基づく実行力

• Possess excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.

• 優れた分析能力と問題解決能力。 大規模で複雑なデータを処理する能力と、統計学またはその他の分析手法に精通している

• Strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills. Ability to work with large, complex data sets and familiarity with statistics or other analytical techniques.

• 優先順位付け、スケジュール管理、時間管理、期限の遵守などの優れた実行力

• Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management and meeting deadlines.

• カイゼン、リーン生産方式、シックスシグマなどのプロセス改善の経験

• Experience with improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
