Summary: Responsible for processing all digital orders coming through the lab and the portal.

Department: Laboratory

Supervisor: Manager of Lab Operations 2nd Level: VP or Operations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following statement reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the principle functions of the job identified and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent to the job.

1. Opens portal on each case, up and download S & L's. Reads and posts notes.
2. Responsible for assessing doctors' scans and creating 3D print ready models on PC.
3. Responsible for taking the created models and turning them into print jobs for the several different styles of printers. a) SLA resin printing b) Polyjet printing c) Metal powder SLS d) Nylon powder SLS
4. Responsible for starting and clearing said styles of 3D printers.
5. Ability to accurately interpret equipment.
6. Responsible for cleaning and finishing the models with hands once they are removed from the printers while also quality checking models. a) Power washing support material from polyjet models. b) Removing resin from models using alcohol baths followed by a UV Cure cycle. c) Depowdering models and polishing appliances by placing them in Metal Boxes using tumblers. d) Heat treatment and tumbling of metal parts.
7. Responsible for changing consumables on printers.
8. Responsible for Tumbling process on acrylic splints.
9. Responsible for running alcohol recycler.
10. Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment as well as maintaining clean printers.
11. Ortho analyzer software-Adds Study Model bases and fixes minor distortions.
12. Maintenance - Regularly runs pattern test, cleans wipers, and cleans heads.
13. Performs main lab function(s) as required depending on the DBR requirements.

Education and/or Experience: -No previous education or experience required. -Prior CAD experience helpful.
