Description
Lindsey McCarthy with Robert Half is working with a leading construction company specializing in real estate and solar development. They are committed to delivering high-quality projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join their team as a Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk. This role is a HYBRID opportunity and is located in Tonawanda, NY.
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with other accounting tasks as needed. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
Prepare and process payments to vendors
Assist with month-end closing activities
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment inquiries
Requirements
Requirements:
Previous experience in accounts payable or general accounting preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with Sage Intact, ProCore, and Corrigo is a plus)
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Construction industry experience preferred but not required
Open to training and willingness to learn
