Shire Sr. Logistics Analyst in Toronto, Canada
Responsible for scheduling and coordination of timely distribution of pharmaceutical products to satisfy commercial customer demands. Responsible for the analysis and maintenance of inventory levels at 3PL’s. Act as the interface between Shire customer service, 3PL warehouse and transport suppliers. This position supports over $500 Million USD in Gross Sales in Canada and is located in Toronto downtown office.
Create/design complex business tools and methods to distribute information to customers and suppliers. Control logistics process and develop strategies to ensure timely receipt; delivery and customer satisfaction. (20%)
Manage and lead logistics projects ensuring timelines are met, budgets are contained and compliance to regulations (15%)
Manage logistics pipeline between supplier and customer through manipulating and analyzing raw data from numerous sources. (5%)
Educate and consult with internal & external stakeholders to increase service, meet expectations, and encourage developing markets through open communications and by developing trusting relationships. (10%)
Initiate and lead in cross-functional, cross-business initiatives. Drive initiatives to completion with little or no supervision. (10%)
Enforce the corporate compliance as it pertains to the warehousing & transportation of goods domestically and internationally. (10%)
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through strategic thinking, critical thinking and analysis. Design, lead and implement programs to achieve these improvements, with little or no supervision (10%)
Performs data management through a combination of data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis, process mapping, and/or problem analysis; while executing day to day processes related to area of responsibility. Develops and maintains cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models. Supports the business through ad-hoc queries, and maintains reports from a variety of resources as specific to department or organizational needs. (10%)
Monitor, track and report on 3PL KPI’s and W&D costs. Estimate W&D accruals and support month end financial close for regional W&D costs (10%)
BS in Engineering/Operations/Logistics/Finance or similar degree
5-8 years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain
