Canadian Tire Associate Manager, Jumpstart Brand and Fundraising (18 Month Contract) in Toronto, Ontario

What you’ll do

If so, we invite you to join our Sport Partnerships and Community Impact team at Canadian Tire Corporation, where you will be a key team member of our Brand Marketing and Fundraising team in support of Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities. As an Associate Manager, you'll have the opportunity to refine your sport branding skills while also being accountable for driving revenues across a variety of audiences including our customers, employees and vendors across our family of retail brands.

  • Manage overall brand communications and activations in partnership with internal teams including Events, Communications, Merchandising, and Store Operations

  • Act as Jumpstart Brand Steward by overseeing the usage and distribution of any sales/marketing materials across internal and external channels

  • Manage integration of Jumpstart across Canadian Tire’s retail banners including Jumpstart Month, Employees for Jumpstart, and always-on POS campaigns

  • Work with agency and internal partners to build assets that support always-on initiatives and events, including ownership of Jumpstart social channels and website

  • Work with insights teams and partner agencies to monitor, measure and evaluate the impact of marketing programs and provide optimization recommendations

  • Provide direction and guidance to Specialists/Emerging Marketers/Co-ops as required in executing tasks of assigned projects

  • Other responsibilities as required based on evolving business need

What you bring

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, sport, or communications

  • 7+ years work experience, ideally within brand management, sport marketing/sponsorships, event management, and/or fundraising

  • Confident and effective communicator, proficient written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of Canadian sport landscape (grassroots through professional)

  • Detail oriented, comfortable with ambiguity and fast paced environments, driven to achieve targets
