Summary
Celestica is seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Senior Manager to join a committed and inspired marketing communications team supporting our Connectivity and Cloud Solutions (CCS) organization. The primary focus of this role is to develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that drives engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation supporting business goals.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of developing and implementing successful content programs that drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation in the B2B technology industry. The candidate is a strong writer with experience developing and delivering media relations and influencer programs.
In addition, they must enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, be well organized, detail-oriented and demonstrate a high level of energy to support various communications programs and initiatives. Experience within the technology industry is required.
Responsibilities
Content
Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy in support of the CCS team’s overall marketing goals and target audiences.
Work closely with the social media manager to ensure alignment and support of the company’s overarching strategy, goals and calendar.
Create high-quality content across various formats, including blog posts, articles, white papers, case studies, videos, infographics, speaking engagements, webinars, podcasts, etc.
Collaborate with senior-level stakeholders, subject matter experts, product marketing, PR/content agencies, and business teams to develop high-quality content to drive thought leadership and build awareness of Celestica’s CCS technologies, products and capabilities.
Ensure all content is optimized for search engines, using relevant keywords and best practices to improve visibility and organic reach. Monitor and analyze communication performance metrics and KPIs to track effectiveness and optimize communication strategies.
Track and analyze content performance metrics, using data to inform content strategy and optimization efforts.
Marketing Communications
Generate increased awareness, recognition and demand for Celestica products and services through the development of collateral and communications tools, including blogs, articles, web pages, press releases, brochures, etc.
Support sales teams and the CCS segment by developing sales-enabling tools, creating appropriate messaging, and content for sales, proposal and collateral development, ads, workshops, website, etc.
Collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders to support marketing communications programs such as campaigns, speaking opportunities, trade shows, etc.
External Communications
Build and maintain strong relationships with technology trade media, technology industry analysts, influencers, and other industry stakeholders to secure coverage and joint marketing opportunities in support of business objectives for the CCS business.
Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and industry news, incorporating relevant insights into content strategy and creation.
Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of experience in marketing communications and content development, with a focus on B2B content. Experience within the technology industry is a definite asset. Proven experience influencing and engaging senior-level stakeholders in the development of content, marketing communications and media relations-related initiatives. Demonstrated experience managing compressed and at times, competing timelines.
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills, strong project management skills, experience with content management systems and analytics tools.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, sales, and PR/content agencies, to ensure content alignment and effectiveness.
Technology: Familiarity with the technology industry and its trends, including knowledge of key concepts and terminology.
Other: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, high attention to detail.
Physical Demands
Duties of this position are generally performed in good working conditions.
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
Occasional exposure to elements such as noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, etc.
Occasional travel may be required.
