Job Summary
TheRegional Manager, Supply Chain Services – Non-Rail Operations and Distribution Servicesis responsible forleading the operational planning process tohandlesupply, demand, and terminalcapacity. The incumbenthandlesyard inventory, equipment inventory, staffing levels and terminal expenses.The roleanalyzes information and makesdecisions tooptimizeperformance, maximizecapacityutilization, improve customer service, and contribute to the overall terminal performance for all facilities in their region.Furthermore, theincumbentis required toengage with SalesandMarketing as well as customerson a daily basisto discuss terminalcapacityand opportunity for new business.
Main Responsibilities
Operational Management Process and Planning
Overseethe terminalcapacity, inboundandoutbound railcar pipeline as well asdaily operational planning
Oversee inventory count and providecreative solutions tomaintainsuitable inventory levels
Handletrain and truck operation on an ongoing basis by monitoring employee productivityand thetimelyloading of equipment
Build safety compliance and improve safety results through regular safety audits,blitzesand walkabouts
Leadthe training activities of new employees and ensure theyacquirethe proper skills to perform their roles
Monitor andparticipatein improving vendor performance, including invoice validations
Overseebudget and workforce productivity within CN policy
Maintain communication withthe Regional SeniorManager,SupplyChainServices, Director Distribution Services,and others
Collaborates with SalesandMarketing as well as other functions to improve terminal operation and revenue goals

Working Conditions
The roleis performed in a combination of office and outdoor environmentsthatoperate24/7and work shiftswhichinclude overnight hours,weekendsand holidays. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and stress.to the role requires occasional travel(25%)to locations across North America where CN operates Transload facilities.

Minimum 5 years of experience in an operation environment
Experience working in a unionized environment*
Experience directing employees with safety sensitive or safety critical jobs

High School diplomaor General Educational Development (GED)
