The Marine Carpenter performs intricate joiner, carpentry tasks building boats with minimal supervision customizing detailed plans. S/he is able to interpret custom work orders and plan projects to include developing bill of materials to complete project. The Marine Carpenter is skilled in the operation and set-up of specialized equipment to achieve desired result. May also mentor and train an entry level Carpenter.
