Position Summary

The Sr. Sitecore & Commerce Tools Developer will collaborate closely with UX designers, business analysts, and cross-functional development teams to implement innovative and seamless user experiences. They will ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our digital solutions while optimizing performance and integrating with various enterprise systems. The incumbent will use tools to involve integration with CRM and other customer-centric platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Sitecore-based web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

  • Integrate and customize Commerce Tools or other Ecommerce platforms to meet business requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

  • Ensure code quality by following best practices, performing code reviews, and writing unit tests.

  • Maintain and update existing applications to improve functionality and performance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the continuous improvement of our solutions.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Support an inclusive culture that encourages, supports and celebrates diversity, equity, and inclusion; serve as a role model to promote DEI best practices.

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Commerce Tools or other Ecommerce platforms.

  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and related technologies.

  • Familiarity with headless CMS platforms.

  • Knowledge of GraphQL or other headless API query languages to efficiently manage and retrieve content.

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services integration.

  • Solid understanding of database technologies, including SQL Server and NoSQL databases.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS is preferred

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA) is preferred.

  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

  • Sitecore v10 certification is required.

  • Understanding and experience with headless architecture, including the ability to decouple the front-end and back-end development processes.

  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining Sitecore-based web applications.

  • Experience with Salesforce and its integration with Ecommerce platforms is preferred.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is preferred.

  • Experience with personalization and A/B testing tools is preferred.

  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is preferred.

Physical and Mental Demands

  • Up to 5% travel may be required.

  • Work normal business hours and extended hours when necessary.

  • Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods.

  • Regular use of office equipment in a remote environment such as a computer/laptop and monitor computer screens.

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
