Tripoli Community School District
is looking for a full-time 5-12 English Language Arts to join our team for the 2024-25 School year. Must have a 5-12 English Language Arts (120) and potential 5-12 Reading (149), along with a valid state of Iowa Teaching license. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. This position involves teaching a variety of courses within the 5-12 English Language Arts, and we are eager to leverage your strengths and skill set to provide the best education for our students. The classes include:
11th grade English
College Prep
7th and 8th grade Literature
9th grade English
Qualifications:
Relevant teaching certification or the ability to obtain a Conditional License
Strong background in Language Arts and related fields
Experience with preferred
Ability to engage and inspire students in practical, hands-on learning environments
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state and school curriculum standards
Foster a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes
Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with in the Language Arts and educational best practices
