Job Title: Entry Level Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Repair machines and equipment to meet all quality and performance standards and keep downtime to a minimum
Projects will include building tables, facilities maintenance, and working on all equipment
Responsibilities
Repair machines and equipment to meet all quality and performance standards
Build tables and maintain facilities
Work on various equipment including robots, water jets, hydraulic presses, conveyors, vacuum pumps, and air compressors
Perform routine housekeeping on machines and tools daily
Order, organize, and maintain all items needed to meet production such as roll stock, tape, slip sheets, and packaging
Work as scheduled, including overtime as assigned
Follow all plant conduct, work, and safety rules and report all unsafe acts and conditions to Production Supervisor immediately
Handle and store dies safely and properly in the appropriate areas
Write Safety Grams, Maintenance Work Orders, and Requests for Engineering requests when necessary
Maintain a clean, orderly, tidy, and safe work environment at all times
Assist during company inventories when needed
Participate in assigned projects and/or improvement teams
Essential Skills
Mechanical background with at least 3 years of experience in mechanics, construction, maintenance, or garage work
Knowledge of conveyors, pumps, and hydraulics
Experience with 110V/220V electrical systems
Minor welding and fabrication experience
Shifts
- Openings on multiple shifts
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
