Robert Half International Export Documentation Coordinator in TROY, Michigan

Description Enjoy working in a rapidly-growing work environment in this Operations Processor role through Robert Half. Are you precise and deadline-driven? Do you consider yourself experienced in working with lending or commercial and/or consumer loan operations? This role may be a great fit for your skills. The primary responsibility of the Operations Processor is to book loans into the banking platform system and process all essential items required for commercial and consumer day-to-day loan processing. This long-term contract / temporary to full-time employment opportunity is based in the Troy, Michigan area.

Your responsibilities

  • Become informed in many loan programs and corresponding computer system codes

  • Manages codes, status dates and loan information for reporting as the case may be

  • Provides outgoing wires and cashier's checks

  • Systematizes department-specific spreadsheets, reports and reviews monthly scrub reports

  • Safeguards homeowner confidence by keeping mortgage loan information confidential

  • Affirms new loans, loan renewals, extensions and modifications into database

  • Reviews reports, monthly payments and accrual adjustments

  • Organizes, regulates, and files documents to ensure information is accessible

  • Concludes and returns verification of mortgage requests

  • Arranges payoff letters and department invoices

  • Categorizes status and information within processing software system

  • Survey email, voice mail and other communication and respond properly

  • Enters payments, advances and payoffs

  • Processes payment corrections and revises billing statements Requirements - General familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

  • Adeptness in International Shipping

  • AS400 experience

  • Adobe Acrobat experience preferred

  • Solid understanding of logistics

  • Export - import documents experience

  • Export customer service experience required

  • At least 2 years' experience with lending or commercial and/or consumer loan operations

  • Ideal candidate should possess knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets

    • Experience with document management, process transformation, and workflow automation programs/r/n/r/n - 1 year mortgage experience strongly preferred

    • Knowledge of financial institution platforms
