HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of QA Consultant (Ref# QAC821PD).
Work Location: Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Under direct supervision, conduct quality assurance and testing analysis of applications in diverse business and technical environments. Design test planning, test estimation, test strategy, test cases, test environment setup, test data setup, defect management, and configuration management. Responsible for performance testing using LoadRunner and/or JMeter. Design and create test plan documents to ensure end to end execution of the entire testing process including determining performance testing goals, scope, criteria, and milestones. Define performance validation matrix by analyzing the requirements and test cases. Create LoadRunner scripts using a variety of protocols. Execute benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues and facilitate the resolution with development and other cross-functional teams. Analyze usage, parameters, and reports to verify the performance of the applications. Generate performance graphs, session reports, and other related documentation required for validation and analysis. Publish results and receive appropriate sign-off. Prepare detailed status reports and monitor all defects and issues. Identify issues and bottlenecks in the application. Prepare status reports and test closure reports. Use of LoadRunner, JMeter, Performance Center, Quality Center, SoapUI, Postman, Fiddler, Splunk, Dynatrace, Java, JavaScript, Web Services, JIRA, Bugzilla, and SQL.
Requirements: This position requires Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year in a related occupation including Test Engineer, Performance Tester, Systems Analyst, or related experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, and SQL. 40hrs/week.
