Unity House Assistant Program Director in Troy, New York

Unity House of Troy is currently seeking an Assistant Program Director of Housing for our Domestic Violence non-residential program in Troy.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply! Position may be eligible for a $750 sign on bonus!

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operation.

Monitor applicant’s acceptance into the housing program.

Training new staff on the policies and procedures of our Funders.

Direct supervision of some staff.

Schedule, coordinate and facilitate trainings.

Working with Housing program director on all areas of the program.

Oversight of multiple grant-funded programs, data collection/reporting, and support services.

Additionally, this position will develop outreach initiatives with providers in the region to help build and maintain new and existing programs.

Promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.

Requirements:

College degree and/or previous experience working with victims of domestic violence, or a similar population (Preferred). Must have reliable transportation, a valid/current NYS driver's license. Bilingual or Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred.
