Qualifications for Employment:

Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree and three years of administrative experience in a customer service setting. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor’s Degree and one year of administrative experience in a customer service setting and Ellucian Banner experience preferred.

Nature and Scope of Duties:

The Scheduling Coordinator reports to the Director of Scheduling and performs the following duties:

Primary responsibility for the development and maintenance of the credit and credit-free master schedule.

Coordination of master schedule information necessary for printing of evening and summer publications.

Prepares faculty payroll and statistical reports that relate to room utilization, faculty load analysis, student contact hours.

Prepares reports when required, and provides information to College personnel regarding the master schedule.

Assists with classroom space reservations required by on/off campus organizations.

Coordinates collection of required documents necessary for program evaluation and/or accreditation.

Coordinates and provides for testing for software upgrades as related to Scheduling, Community Education & Workforce Development, School Programs.

Performs review and error checking of master schedule (links, contact hours, etc.).

Assists in training of academic staff with faculty load, master schedule, Curriculog, all software implementation and upgrades and other areas related to the scheduling office.

Assists with working with the Deans and Department Chairpersons to ensure the accuracy of the master schedule and to develop appropriate initiatives and resolve concerns related to the schedules.

Assists with the preparation of the faculty payroll and statistical reports that relate to room utilization, faculty load analysis and student contact hours.

Assists with the maintenance of the forms and validations tables related to the Master Schedule, faculty and room data.

Assists with making adjustments to the Master Schedule to accommodate students and/or faculty with a disability on file with the Center for Access and Assistive Technology.

Coordinates and provides for scanning/archiving projects related to Scheduling, Community Education & Workforce Development, School Programs.

Performs other related duties as assigned to support all related office functions.

This is a full-time 37.5-hour work week position with a salary range of $45,000-$47,000.
