Actalent Validation Engineer in Troy, Ohio

Description:

The Validation Engineer is responsible for the overall development of validation, the creation & documentation of modeling plans to the engineering team and leading in failure analysis and test jig design.

  • Complete FEA modeling setup to ensure accurate analysis

  • Create project reports and manager multiple projects

  • Act as a liaison between customer and different groups within the company

  • Evaluate validation requirement from customer and develop adequate test methods & design jigs

  • Create test reports and present to customers

  • Lead product testing and coordinate various activities

  • Document test procedures, programs and test systems

Qualifications

  • 1+ Years of Validation related engineering experience

  • Experience using Hypermesh or Abaqus simulation software

  • Knowledge of Metal Fatigue, NVH (Noise, vibration and harshness) and automotive chassis

  • FEA experience

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering

    NICE HAVE

  • 5+ Years of Validation engineering experience supporting the automotive industry

  • Skillful in all software's including: Hypermesh, Abaqus, Ncode/DesignLife, Nastran

  • Experience is 3D and 2D drawings

  • Experience in data acquisition systems

  • Knowledge in metal fatigue
