Description
Our client, a high-end resort is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll/HR Specialist to temporarily join their team. The selected candidate will be tasked with managing both the recruitment process and payroll operations during a medical leave, and could extend past 3 months as needed. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and background in HR or related fields.
Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews and coordinating onboarding process.
Administer payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates for up to 250 employees on a bi-weekly basis
Act as a point of contact for all inquiries related to recruitment and payroll.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Assist in coordinating trainings and seminars for staff development.
Keep up-to-date with latest recruiting trends and payroll regulations.
Contribute to team efforts in maintaining a harmonious working environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in recruitment and payroll management - ideally in ADP Workforce Now
Familiarity with payroll software, as well as MS Office suite.
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Ability to work part-time in Tucson, Arizona.
