The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a Director of Food and Beverage to join the team at Squire Resort at Grand Canyon in Tusayan, Arizona. Our ideal Director of Food and Beverage is an experienced multi-outlet manager within the hospitality industry who is looking for a new and exciting challenge. As the Director of Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for the operational efficiency and success of the Food and Beverage team at Squire Resort.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $84200 - $113700 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain safety and sanitation procedures including the proper repair and maintenance of food service equipment

  • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding the sale of alcohol, payroll, employment guidelines, and The Occupational Safety and Health Administration

  • Determine staffing levels to maximize net returns while maintaining guest service levels

  • Prepare and submit monthly projections and reports

  • Verify that effective systems for cash, inventory, and payroll procedures are in place

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of hospitality management experience

  • Familiar with various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems

  • Established assessment and decision-making skills with proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization

  • Previous experience in large-scale hospitality or related industry preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred
