Construction Observer
Location: Twin Falls, Idaho

The Construction Observer position is part of the Construction
Engineering Group, and the main responsibilities of this position
include, but are not limited to:
- Observes all phases of contractor work, procedures, and progress to
verify general conformance with plans, specifications, and
standards.
- Observes construction of multi-disciplinary municipal/public and
private projects, including water, wastewater, stormwater,
irrigation, airports, roadways, structural, bridges, and earthwork.
- Implements policies and procedures and observes compliance with
OSHA, EEO, and labor compliance requirements.
- Coordinates with third-party, independent testing laboratories
performing tests on a variety of materials.
- Monitors quality control/assurance by reviewing testing reports.
- Computes, reviews, and verifies pay quantities, computations, and
materials.
- Reviews and prepares project construction diaries, photographs,
testing data, reports, and summaries for project correspondence.
- Coordinates construction activities with utility companies, cities,
counties, state agencies, property owners and contractors.
