Variable shifts – must be flexible to meet department staffing needs.
What You Can Expect:
• Collaborate with leadership to create and execute staffing plans that ensure each department is appropriately staffed for day-of-operation needs.
• Make real-time staffing decisions regarding staff allocation, cancellation, and reallocation—guided by established policies and procedures, including floating guidelines, pay practices, and available/cancellation days.
• Communicate and coordinate with off-duty staff and unit management to secure additional coverage when needed, while accurately documenting all adjustments in the electronic scheduling system.
• Make calls to off-duty staff, negotiate with units in collaboration with unit leadership, and reallocate resources to meet the needs of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, or customer service is highly desirable.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: No previous experience required—training provided!
• Licenses/Certifications: None required.
