Our next HR Business Partner – Operations will be a hands-on HR partner, working closely with frontline leaders to recruit, train, and engage top talent for our plant, maintenance, and field teams. You’ll drive hiring effectiveness, build onboarding and training programs, and shape a culture that aligns with our mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities Include:
Ensuring the Right People in the Right Seats
Partner with hiring managers to identify workforce needs and develop a proactive talent pipeline for plant techs, maintenance techs, and other operations roles.
Drive the full cycle recruiting process, ensuring candidates not only have the correct profile but the technical skills required and align with the company’s culture, mission, vision, and values.
Support hiring managers in structured interviews, selection techniques, and decision-making to improve hiring effectiveness and retention.
Assist with talent calibrations to assess RPRS and plans to close gaps for training and development.
Onboarding & Training Development
Design and facilitate an onboarding experience that sets up new hires for success, integrating company values, safety requirements, and job expectations.
Develop and implement training programs that enhance technical skills, operational knowledge, and leadership capabilities.
Ensure continuous learning opportunities for employees to grow into future roles within the company.
Manager Training & Development
Equip hiring managers and frontline leaders with training in effective interviewing, employee engagement, performance management, and team development, to enhance their LMA.
Serve as a resource for managers to navigate employee relations, coaching, and HR processes that align with company objectives.
Facilitate leadership development programs that build a strong operations management team.
Cultural Alignment & Employee Engagement
Drive initiatives that reinforce company culture and align employees with the strategy, mission, vision, and values.
Support engagement efforts by facilitating stay interviews, conducting pulse surveys, and working with leadership to address employee feedback.
Foster an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and motivated to contribute to the company's success.
HR Compliance & Workforce Planning
Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and HR policies in hiring, training, and day-to-day operations.
Support workforce planning by analyzing turnover trends, engagement scores, identifying retention risks, and recommending proactive HR solutions.
Continuously improve HR processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and the overall employee experience.
*Note that the role does require the willingness and ability to travel to our Operations facilities in OKC, Louisiana, West Texas and South Texas.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certifications (Preferred but not required):
SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional)
PHR (Professional in Human Resources)
3-7 years of HR experience , preferably in an industrial, oil & gas, manufacturing, or field operations environment.
Recruiting and talent acquisition experience , particularly for technical, skilled labor, or operations roles.
Experience in onboarding and training development for new hires and frontline employees.
Strong understanding of employee engagement strategies and cultural alignment within a mission-driven organization.
Experience supporting hiring managers with interviewing, selection, and workforce planning.
Familiarity with HR compliance, labor laws, and safety regulations applicable to operational roles.
Previous experience in manager training and leadership development.
