We are looking for an enthusiastic Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) Manager to lead our plant to deliver world class performance in Heath, Safety and Environment.

In this role, you will have full responsibility for the HS&E agenda for the plant in Upplands Vasby, managing the action plans to deal with non-conformance and compliance issues. You will also act as primary advisor to the Senior leadership team for the plant. You should also set standards for performance and Continuous Improvement (CI).

Collaboration is key to success and alongside the plant team you will manage the delivery of all HS&E activities including standards & procedures, capability processes, reporting, compliance and audit. You will also ensure all regulatory compliance is met with the local authorities and internal legal departments.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Develop and drive HS&E strategy and agenda for the site participating in management reviews and using tools and techniques to identify cross-site opportunities. Coach, support and collaborate with the wider Plant Leadership Team in delivery of the HS&E agenda.

  • Lead the HS&E team as well as coaching and providing support as required to this team.

  • Ensure relevant Safety and Environment training requirements are identified for the site, and that appropriate training packages are developed and delivered to support the implementation of Mondelez standards/procedures, and to meet legal compliance.

  • Lead the development of systems and processes to achieve and exceed compliance with all HS&E requirements and company policies. Conduct assessment of the Plants performance against relevant Mondelez International standards

  • Ensure that appropriate Risk Assessments in HS&E are performed to minimize or eliminate risk to employees, contractors and visitors. Provide cost effective alternatives and solutions to unacceptable risks surfaced from the Plant

  • Provide technical, analytically based solutions and advice as a key member of the Plant Leadership Team on issues relating to Safety and Environment.

What you will bring

A passion for making a difference and executing positive change for the future. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

  • Experience as a Health, Safety and Environment Practitioner preferably within a manufacturing or commercial environment

  • Strong people management experience and implementing cultural change

  • Experience of coaching individuals

  • Demonstrated experience managing a team, change management and project management

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

  • Demonstrated experience with local regulatory management.

Must be able to speak Swedish
