Oracle DBA Senior Principal Consultant in UTRECHT, Netherlands

Job Description

What you will do:

Whether you’re onsite or sharing your expertise via the cloud, you’ll deliver top-class support and inspire customer loyalty.

Your role will be to work with Oracle customers to assist them with their database administration requirements. This could involve anything from a day’s assistance on resolving a specific issue right through to a project lasting many months to design and implement a new high availability database cluster. No two customers are the same so this role will be interesting and challenging, and you will have the opportunity to work on some of the biggest implementations in Benelux, running mission critical applications.

What you’ll bring:

You have that rare combination—a sharp technical brain and a head for business. You’ll use this to help customers achieve real-world success with our products. We also look for:

  • A solid consulting experience implementing database solutions

  • Ability to inspire and engage with senior stakeholders based on content (technology knowledge, transformation approach, adoption centricity)

  • Fluency in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

Required technical skills:

  • Solid experience as an operational Oracle DBA

  • Demonstrable knowledge of Oracle Database 12c and 19c administration

  • Practical knowledge and experience of High Availability solutions

  • Proficient knowledge of Oracle Database design and database server infrastructure

  • Oracle Real application Clusters (RAC)

  • Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning and data pump.

Advantageous but not essential:

  • Exadata experience

  • Database security skills

  • Knowledge of IaaS and PaaS services
