PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To perform Dis-assembly, Assembly, repair activities and manufacturing support of the compressor.
• Understand the scope of work and to plan the process.
• Responsible for execution of Dis-assemblies of the compressor.
• Responsible for repairs of sub-assemblies, and other auxiliaries.
• Responsible for machining/assembly of compressor parts and sub-assemblies
• To be able to perform shrink fit and achieve required dimension values.
• Co-ordinating with the team of Service Technicians / helpers and proactively reviewing daily workload to seek opportunities that will help to drive project.
• Execution of all critical repair activities of compressors for continual improvement.
• Well versed with document management for machine details like assembly drawings, BOM, parts etc.
• Coordination with quality team to ensure the final parts, sub-assemblies, final assembly in line with the technical requirements.
Time Management:
• Execution of all repair jobs, assemblies ensuring on time delivery, in line with the finalized scope.
• Maintain the job respective route card for individual project for material movement & evaluation of planned vs actual time for individual activities.
EHS:
• Ensuring completion of repair activities with adherence to safety regulations.
• Implementation of EHS guidelines at shop floor activities.
• Coordinate for the mitigation of risks and take corrective actions to ensure safe working environment.
• Coordinate for the timely calibration of lifting tools & Tackles.
Eligibility criteria
• Should have minimum 10 Years of experience in compressor repairs / assemblies preferably centrifugal compressors.
