Department Summary

Teach primarily in the Health Sciences program at the undergraduate level.

Additional duties may include teaching in the undergraduate Exercise Physiology program and the online Nutritional Sciences minor.

Participating in service at the school, college and University levels.

• MS in health education, public health, nursing, athletic training, exercise science, or a closely aligned field of study.

• Broad teaching experience within a health or fitness related curricula.
• Experience in academic programs with an interdisciplinary studies focus.
• Experience working in a healthcare or fitness related field.
• Current licensure (e.g., RN, AT, etc.) or healthcare certification (e.g., ACSM, NSCA, CHES, ATC, CPH, etc.).
• A record of effective teaching appropriate to the applicant's career stage.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
