Job Description
Safely and efficiently perform manual labor during the production process of Danfoss products. Operate and troubleshoot production machinery. Perform minor repairs as necessary. Actively support and strive to meet the strategic goals set by the facility and Danfoss Power Solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Must be able to learn, apply, and retain new techniques, concepts and procedures required for continuously improving products, processes, services, deliveries, and overall quality.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, control plans, routers, job instructions and measurement tools.
Must meet or exceed all quality standards set by the customers and individual Value Stream. Must also maintain the quality standards defined for the entire facility
Maintain flexibility to be able to move from work area to work area to meet the delivery expectations of the customers and the productivity goals for the plant. Able to work efficiently to establish standards without constant supervision.
Promotes cooperation and "team oriented" work environment at all times under the direction of the leadership.
Creates/maintains a safe work environment and practices safety for them and others at all times.
Background & Skills
Qualifications
Must be able to handle heavy lifting
Must be able to lift up to 50lb frequently
Ability to multitask including operator forklift, hoist, cutting and MFG Pro
Use Scale and Eddy-Current gauge
Required (basic) qualifications
High School Degree or GED
Math skills to calculate pieces per bar and weight per piece
