As the North America and Canada Benefits Partner, you will support the TR benefit transformation in partnership with the Global Benefits Lead. Within the role, you’ll create a deep relationship with the North America and Canada regional teams to drive the benefits strategy across those locations.

What you will do:

  • Support the Global Benefits Lead executing on the Avanade benefit strategy and consistent core across Canada

  • Ensure all Canada benefits, including pensions are approved and compliant with Global policies

  • Partner with Marketing and Employee Brand to ensure regional benefit packages support the growth of the external and internal Avanade brand

  • Partner with Canada HR and Talent Acquisition to ensure benefits are well communicated and utilized across the organization to support attraction and retention

  • Create strong collaboration with Employee Experience and Inclusion and Diversity teams ensuring complimentary support/benefits to identified global initiatives

  • Support regional HR teams and Avanade employees in ensuring they are consistently utilizing HR support for benefit administration

  • Support Avanade employees in escalating Benefit concerns to resolution

  • Skills and experiences

  • Excellent analytical skills & business acumen 

  • Experience with a range of US and Canada benefits (global experience a plus)

  • Deep knowledge of the benefits portfolio 

  • Experience rolling out a benefits platform

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Experiences with benefit tools and broker relationships

  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior leadership

  • Excellent problem-solving ability

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business, or relevant equivalent work experience.
