Clark College is currently accepting applications for a part-time, permanent hourly Classified Office Assistant Lead position to work approximately 17 hours a week. This position supports the Financial Aid Department. This position's main duties are to provide excellent customer service by providing front office coverage and leadership for work study employees for student facing services. The work schedule for this position is fully on campus up to four days per week in-person.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:
Candidates will be evaluated based on application materials, including the supplemental questions and personal interview(s), and will be required to demonstrate competencies in the following areas:
- High School graduation or equivalent.
- Financial aid experience, including knowledge of policies and procedures.
- Proficient with PeopleSoft, Microsoft Suite and Zoom.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including active listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead and direct work study staff with support of supervisors.

- The initial appointment will include a 6-month probationary period and the employee will earn permanent status after successfully completing probation.

SALARY RANGE: $17.67 - $23.40/hour. | Step A-M | Range: 36 | Code: 100K
Successful candidates typically start at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases.
