Overview

The Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for working closely with our Project Engineers to prepare documentation for projects. You will perform various coordination tasks such as scheduling and documenting control, administrative duties, maintaining project documentation, and time entry. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management, communication skills, and an ability to collaborate with internal teams to deliver results on deadlines. This position reports directly to a Project Manager and is considered part of the Operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Project Engineers and Project Managers to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.

  • Break projects into actionable steps with set deadlines.

  • Assist with project preparation, proposal, and phasing set ups.

  • Support project procurement management.

  • Utilize tools to monitor submittal log management and purchase order entry.

  • Issue appropriate purchase orders and subcontracts.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience working as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role.

  • Ability to work fully on-site out of our corporate office in Vancouver, WA.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting construction projects.

  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.

  • Proficient organizational skills, attention to detail, and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work with clients and a diverse team to achieve results.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical ability.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Adaptability when faced with priority changes.

  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions:

  • This role is based out of our corporate office in Vancouver, WA. Occasional travel may be required to support project loads.

  • Work is generally performed while standing or sitting, in an office environment, with a computer and telephone.

  • At times, work may be performed at a jobsite where additional training, certifications, or clearances may be needed to comply with jobsite requirements.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Compensation Range:

$68,000-$71,500
