Aerotek Hvac Technician in Vandalia, Ohio

Job Title: HVAC Technician up to $93,600/year

Job Description

Join our team as an HVAC Technician and contribute to maintaining the operational integrity of HVAC systems in commercial and industrial properties across multiple locations. This full-time position operates on a 1st shift schedule, Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a rotating on-call duty for 2-4 weeks per year. The role includes preventive maintenance tasks such as coil cleaning and filter changes every three months, as well as troubleshooting and service tasks including compressor replacements, brazing, electrical troubleshooting, and motor changes. Compensation ranges from $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience.

Hard Skills

  • 5+ years of HVAC service experience in commercial or industrial settings

  • EPA Universal (608) certification

  • Proficiency in using a multi-meter for troubleshooting

  • Valid driver's license and insurability

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Vandalia, Ohio.

Work Environment

The role involves traveling to and working in commercial and industrial properties across Dayton, Lima, Springfield, and occasionally Indianapolis. The team comprises 38 service technicians in Dayton, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
