Description
Provides engineering consulting and research support services to federal, state, and local transportation agencies. Consulting services include pavement design and analysis, pavement management, and the development of pavement-related software tools, both for in-house use and as client deliverables. Engineering research services involve using pavement engineering and material concepts, statistical analysis, experimental design, and data mining. Duties include, but are not limited to, interpreting pavement-related testing data, network and project-level pavement performance data; and database development.
Degree requirements: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil and Environmental Engineering with specialization in pavement engineering.
Salary range: $78,062 to $102,137 per year
