Collins Aerospace is seeking at Product Quality Engineer to help
support their Mission Systems business unit in Vergennes, VT!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensures manufacturing processes and product builds are followed and
comply with Quality and Engineering requirements
- Drives problem solving projects and actively challenges the status
quo (e.g., root cause and corrective action investigations, (FPY,
customer escapes)
- Provides analysis and recommendations for corrective actions for
nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced
products & processes
- Leads and drives alignment with fellow quality and manufacturing
engineers, sustaining engineers, engineering management, operations,
and shop floor personnel
- Participates/implements continuous improvement for established
processes for further improvement of quality, efficiency, and cost
- Ensures that projects and process control documentation are
compliant with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts
- Responsible for managing time and being organized with daily tasks
- Work with team members, customers, suppliers and in a team
environment
- Read, write, speak and understand work instructions, both verbal and
written, perform basic math calculations and conduct self-inspection
/ audit
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and
minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree
in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant
experience
- S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to
access information under this program/contract
- Ability to read and interpret material and process specifications,
technical drawings, 3D models, technical reports, manuals, and work
instructions.
- Experience working in a central quality or manufacturing
organizations.
- Current experience with RRCAs (Relentless Root Cause Analysis)

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary
range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience
levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including
but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities,
a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key
skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited
