Job Title: Sr Manager, Digital Marketing

Reports To: VP, Life Sciences Marketing & Ecommerce

Position Location: Vernon Hills, IL

Position Summary:

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will lead our digital marketing efforts and drive the overall online presence of our brand. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital strategies for various channels, including Amazon, social media, email marketing, content marketing, SEO, and paid advertising. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving measurable results, a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, and the ability to lead a team to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute innovative and data-driven digital marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital initiatives with broader marketing and business strategies

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Set clear goals and expectations and provide guidance on strategy execution and optimization.

  • Oversee and optimize campaigns across various digital channels, including Amazon, social media, email, content marketing, SEO, and paid advertising.

  • Ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to maximize overall impact and reach.

  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Manage digital marketing budgets effectively, allocating resources to achieve maximum return on investment (ROI).

  • Provide regular reporting on budget utilization and performance against targets.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product teams, sales, and creative, to align digital marketing efforts with broader business goals.

  • Work closely with external agencies and partners to enhance campaign effectiveness.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing innovations to keep the brand at the forefront of the digital landscape.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • 7+ years’ progressive experience in digital marketing

  • 3+ years' people management experience

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior-level digital marketing role, with a track record of developing and implementing successful digital strategies.

  • Previous B2B marketing experience, Life Sciences a plus

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing digital marketing team.

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • A strategic thinker with the ability to align digital initiatives with broader business objectives.

  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding KPIs and business goals.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization

  • Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization
