Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description
As a Backend Production Technician, you will work to ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for our patients. You will work in various workstations allowing you to grow your skillsets further. Our back-end team focuses on order fulfillment in our closed-door pharmacy setting, including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations. Additional tasks and responsibilities include: - Rotating and working in various assigned pharmacy workstations including: Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, Machine Packaging - Receiving product deliveries, pulling and staging product for distribution, rotating stock, and coordinating activities with drivers to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely - Performing physical inventories of medication
Hard Skills
1+ year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
State-registered as a Pharmacy Technician
Nationally certified PTCB technician (preferred)
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience in a pharmacy setting
Knowledge of medical terminology

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Vinton, Virginia.
Work Environment
Must be able to work rotating shifts 8-4pm, 11:30am-9pm, and 1:30pm-11pm. Will work rotating shifts including Morning, Mid-Day, and Evening, as well as every other weekend. You may need to stay past your shift if there is work to be done. This is a high productivity role that requires standing during the entirety of your shift.
