Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Master Scheduler to join their team. As a Master Scheduler, you will be part of the Supply Chain department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Master Scheduler
Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia
Pay Range: $55,000 - $89,000
What's the Job?
Develop and maintain capacity plans, production schedules, and delivery schedules to ensure the efficient delivery of inventory, service, and cost objectives.
Monitor and track inventory levels, service levels, and vendor performance to identify variance from goals.
Coordinate with other departments in material and mold procurement, engineering change management, and new product launches.
Lead weekly supply review meetings to discuss supply shortages and recommend mitigation strategies.
Initiate and lead process improvement projects to drive better efficiencies and yield improvement in KPIs.
What's Needed?
Proven experience in supply chain management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and MRP analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze root causes.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
