Compensation Minimum:$66,800

Compensation Maximum:$107,000


Job Family Summary

Leads the development and implementation of new business technology platforms and the enhancement of existing systems. Evaluates new technology and identifies systems and business data requirements. Recommends appropriate systems and technology alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems. Provides administration and support services for key business technology platforms and systems. Maintains systems-related internal controls and ensures the integrity and completeness of source system transaction data. Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives. Some staff may specialize in process/robotics or report automation.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Leverages line of business and business system expertise including business rule and process knowledge to provide leadership for the most complex business application systems projects.

  • Works closely with IT to identify technology opportunities and share the business vision and strategy.

  • Leads ideation, conceptualization, prioritization, and initiation for future system use and enhancements.

  • Works with IT to clarify business requirements where needed and assists in the development of the test strategy and plan for large and complex projects.

  • Researches complex system issues and coordinates resolution.

  • Researches and evaluates business system application developments and technologies within the insurance industry and business markets that are relevant to the business and future business strategy.

  • Defines and approves business data requirements and controls over production interfaces.

  • Creates and maintains processes, risks and internal system controls for compliance.

  • Leads or participates on teams to provide on-going testing and evaluation of controls.

Travel Requirements

  • This position requires travel up to 10% of the time.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.

  • Demonstrated experience developing user acceptance testing plans and strategies.

  • Demonstrated experience working with process workflows and processing systems.

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of process management and how technology can be used to automate and improve business processes.

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools

Additional Job Information:

The ideal candidate:

  • Ability to work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs including managing the day to day accountabilities.

  • Managing the backlog of work and enhancements to ensure accurate prioritization is carried out with the vendor.

  • Ability to analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns.

  • Communicating with users about project or campaign expectations and goals as well as creating communication plans.

  • Exceptional written skills a plus.

  • Technical acumen a plus to be able to troubleshoot more complex issues.

  • Ability to document requirements and standard work for program processes and improvements.

  • Ability to gather agent feedback to identify opportunities to improve the program
