Your day to day
The Team Leader – Housekeeping is responsible to assist in providing the below task;
1. Supervise the implementation of housekeeping standards and procedures.
2. Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all housekeeping systems.
3. Open and close the shift and ensure effective shift hand over.
4. Perform Room allocations, Perform Room inspections to Audit standards.
5. Liaise with Front Office for guest and hotel requirements.
6. Co-ordinate special projects (e.g. site rooms, vermin control, window and carpet cleaning, room inventories).
7. Maintain adequate stock levels and complete stock takes as required.
8. Conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known.
What we need from you
Experience and Skills:
· Previous hotel-related experience in Housekeeping
· Skills in computer and operating system
· Skills in dealing diplomatically with the public under stressful events
· Experience in supervising a team
· Ability to demonstrate delegation skills
· Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations
