The hotel boasts 269 tastefully decorated rooms, each thoughtfully designed to reflect the hotels neighborhood story, the story of Dubai creek. Your Day to Day

In a nutshell, as an Income Auditor, you will be responsible for producing the daily revenue report and reconciling all revenues against cash banked and accounts receivable movements for each day. You will also ensure that all revenues are recorded and reported daily, and all control procedures are in place relating to the income process. The incumbent assists in promoting the desired work culture around the Winning Ways of the InterContinental Hotels Group and the brand ethos.

What we need from you

You'll report to the Finance & Business Support Manager, and you’ll play a big role in supporting the overall success of the hotel.

The right fit for this role is someone who has solid hotel background with an energetic and fun personality. They should be passionate about people and hospitality. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential. If you are this person, we’d like to meet you.

Ideally, you should be able to Finalize food cover report and photocopies various documentation for food and beverage control and the Finance Department. You will Key in revenue journal and distributes to Outlet Managers and management. You will Control dockets used in all outlets, maintaining correct sequence always used, accounting for dockets and making sure cancelled dockets are recorded accordingly

Control all food and beverage sales by:

  • Correct recording of guest checks on a timely basis

  • Performs spot checks on outlet checks used

  • Having all voided checks, corrections and unsettled checks approved by the Restaurant Supervisor or Manager

  • Monitors the buffet controls, especially over cash settled checks to prevent reuse ensuring all revenue is recorded

  • Ensure banquet controls are being adhered to

  • Reconciles total outlet sales to total charges

Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify the accuracy of financial transactions and documents such as invoices, reports, and receipts.

  • Reconcile daily sales reports from all hotel revenue centers, such as rooms, food and beverage outlets, and events.

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

  • Prepare daily income reports for management.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper revenue reporting and collection.

  • Conduct periodic audits of internal financial operations.

  • Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly reports.\Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • Previous experience in accounting or auditing, preferably in the hospitality industry.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
