Plant and Industrialization Chemical Process Engineer

Work Location: La Plaine, Geneva, Switzerland

Key Responsibilities:• Transfer new products and processes into production and achieve HSE, quality and cost targets;• Champion, develop and enforce best practices at site level related to chemical processes and safety;• Provide world-class support to operational team on chemistry and chemical processes topics;• Maintain a high level of awareness of the advancement of the technology and processes, in close contact with R&D and other production sites;• Lead continuous improvement on production chains;• Create and update chemical procedures;• Manage cross-functional projects at site level.

You bring:• PhD in Process Engineering (EPFL, EPHZ, National French Chemistry school, ENSIC, ENSIACET, …) and/or PhD in process chemistry;• Good knowledge of distillation units, preferably in petrochemical industry or fragrance chemistry and related software (ASPEN, SEEK);• 5 years min. of experience in fine chemical industry, preferentially in production or pilot department;• Hands-on experience in HS&E with process safety mindset (HAZOP, Process Risk Assessment, Management of Change);• Strong project management track record;• Ability to work effectively with different divisions and stakeholders;• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills – data oriented (Minitab);• Strong influential skills; • French (mother tongue or C1) and English (B1-C2).
