Danaher Corporation Sales Manager - Invitro Diagnostics in Algeria

The position is primarily responsible to grow the market share of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics Products by actively promoting and selling to all potential customers in Algeria with close coordination with Beckman Coulter channel partners. Work closely with end users to improve customer experience and Beckman Coulter image. This role reports directly to Regional Sales Manager.GeographyAlgeriaExpected Travel and Time Management70% of time is dedicated to visit the Governmental and private accounts throughout Algeria.Product LineDiagnostics: TLA (Total Lab Automation), Chemistry, Immunoassay, Hematology, Microbiology, Urinalysis businesses and blood bank solutions.Role and ResponsibilitiesCustomer Retention and Attraction

  • To achieve SMART goals and financial objectives in Algeria.

  • Develop strong customer relationship & partnership with key decision makers and Key opinion leaders in the Diagnostic field.

  • To actively promote the Diagnostics line of business and to position Beckman Coulter as the preferred solution and reinforce Beckman competitive advantages

  • To identify business opportunities and work closely with application, Workflow and Regional Sales Manager to tailor competitive solutions and offerings to the end-users.

  • To perform regular visits to our base customers to increase and maintain loyalty

  • To work on attracting new customers and increase our competitive wins

  • To work closely with the regional sales manager/ Channel partners on the financial proposals.

  • To work closely with the applications specialist to optimize product evaluation.

  • To work closely with the service department to resolve any service issues.

  • To develop with Beckman Coulter Channel partners and align common objectives to achieve business growth.

. Tender and Key Account Management

  • To act as the first point of contact for the end users.

  • Develop and execute Key account plans in coordination with the sales managers to close opportunities.

  • To make sure that all activities are performed while maintaining highest level of compliance and integrity.

  • To follow up with end users and/or concerned department to generate request for quotes (RFQs).

  • To work closely with the customer service rep to arrange and submit quotations.

  • To work closely with the inventory planner and the Customer Service Rep to ensure product availability

  • Manage opportunities using the Sales Force.com (SFDC), by ensuring a healthy Sales funnel.

Market trends

  • To monitor and evaluate key customer development, market conditions and competitive activities.

  • Monitor and report all competition activates that take place in the territory.

    Job Requirements Include:

  • Previous experience in Sales is a MUST (3 -5 years)

  • Diagnostic/ Laboratory experience is a MUST.

  • Fluent in English, French& Arabic is a Must.

  • Robust understanding of the Sales process and Cycles.

  • Excellent relationship with Key Distribution Market in the territory

  • Strong business acumen and attention to details

  • Ability to work closely with the different stakeholders of the supply chain.

  • Team player with a proven ability to coordinate efforts amongst all stakeholders

  • Proven ability in identifying market opportunities and capturing market share

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • B. Sc. degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or Business graduate
