Medtronic Marketing Specialist, Diabetes (Maternity cover, 1 year) in Finland

We are looking for a Marketing specialist for the Diabetes business in Finland. This position is a cover for a 12-month maternity leave in the team, and the ideal time to start is May or June 2024.

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for marketing tasks within the Diabetes business in Medtronic Finland. The product portfolio includes insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems, Smart pens, CareLinkTM software, and consumables. The job entails working closely with the local marketing and sales team, the Nordic regional team and EMEA product teams. We work from the office one-two days per week, and from home the other days.

A Day in the Life

You will be responsible for:

• Translate, proof-read and localize marketing- and education materials for patients and healthcare professionals.

• Keep local websites, product catalogues and price lists updated.

• Oversee social media pages and do community management for Facebook.

• Localize and create newsletters aimed at healthcare professionals and patients.

• Localize advertising for magazines, newspapers and social media.

• Help launch new products, software and services.

Must Haves

• Degree level education; preferably in life sciences, marketing, journalism, or similar

• Strong communication skills in Finnish and English, and preferably in Swedish as well

• Previous experience/knowledge of diabetes

• Proficiency in Power Point, Excel, Canva, InDesign, Adobe and similar tools

• Ability to understand and communicate complex concepts and ideas

• Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks and work toward deadlines

• Result-oriented with good organization and time management skills

Nice to Haves

• Previous experience from the medical device- or pharma industry

• Previous experience from social media and community management
