About our Team
You will be joining a collaborative, curious, team of Site Reliability Engineers at all different levels. By joining us you will have the opportunity to share ownership in solving this problem end to end. From exploring new data sources for building features, to design and put in production predictive models and make sure they perform consistently over time.
About the Role
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, your purpose is to ensure that the company's systems and applications are available, reliable, and performant at all times. You will be responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure solutions, monitoring and troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
Working as part of a cross-functional team to best implement internal applications
Participating in product design discussions to provide insights on reliability, scalability, and operational considerations.
Diagnosing complex system performance problems and system problems using dumps, traces, or other diagnostics aids.
Implementing and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the product to ensure smooth and automated deployment processes.
Monitoring and respond to alerts, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
Understanding Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and its implementation methods.
Requirements
Experience in GitHub as a Source Code Management (SCM) platform, with hands-on experience in version control and collaborative coding.
Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and Elastic for monitoring, analytics, and proactive issue identification.
Experience in incident management, showcasing the ability to respond promptly and effectively to unforeseen challenges.
Experience in a Cloud Platform particularly in AWS (Amazon Web Services), or proficiency in other leading cloud providers.
Experience of Containerisation and knowledge of at least one Infrastructure as a code tool such as Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible
Experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, utilizing tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or TeamCity.
Experience of Ubuntu and Linux distribution, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance and Networking.
