We are looking for a Software Quality Tools and Enablement People Leader to be a part of the DevTools team. The Devtools team provides best-in-class tools or platform for our Developers, providing Technical Support, Development Platform education & training , Tool enablement, best practices and more.
Function as a product owner and leader on testing methodologies, testing strategies, best practices, and quality assurance principles.
Provide thought-leadership on quality tools and enablement and spearhead the evolution of the team.
Assist product teams in selecting and integrating appropriate testing tools and frameworks to enhance their testing capabilities.
Establish key quality metrics and tracking mechanism to monitor testing effectiveness, identify trends and insights for continuous improvement.
Promote knowledge sharing, learning sessions and trainings for the community.
Collaborate with Product Owners and Software Engineers to provide support on how new applications should be tested and drive automation initiates accordingly.
Construct new test automation frameworks, conduct proof of concepts for new Quality tools, and maintain existing tools and frameworks.
Manage Global Client and Mobile Lab operations in Dearborn and Chennai to effectively support product teams for testing environments.
Prioritize team member's growth and career development while supporting organization competencies.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
A minimum 8 years of software development and/or software testing experience
Proven expertise and experience in Opentext ALM, Selenium, Cucumber, Testrail, Ready API, Unified functional text (UFT)
Proficiency in CI/CD and Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins/Tekton/GitHub actions.
Experience with Agile disciplines
